Calculate your cost per ticket
ActiveQ published price
This block is separate from your figures above. It shows the public list price for the number of agents you entered, and it is not a comparison with your costs.
How the numbers are worked out
- Monthly cost of agent time = agents x loaded hourly cost x paid hours per agent per month.
- Cost per ticket = monthly cost of agent time divided by tickets per month. It spreads all paid time, including idle time, across the tickets handled.
- Handling cost per ticket = loaded hourly cost x average handle minutes / 60. It counts only the time spent working one ticket.
- Share of paid hours spent handling = tickets x handle minutes / 60, divided by agents x paid hours. A figure above 100% means the inputs do not fit together.
The loaded hourly cost is yours to define. Common parts are pay, payroll taxes, benefits and any tools or equipment you assign to each agent. Leave out anything you do not count.

How the calculator works
It works out your cost per ticket from the numbers you enter, and nothing you enter is stored, sent or logged. It does not predict or estimate savings, the ActiveQ price is not netted against your costs, and it does not connect to an ActiveQ workspace.
